Queens rapper Otis Clapp is on the verge of releasing his new project, Helen Keller. (Yes, you read that right.) He’s shared a string of songs from the EP, including the title track and “Prove Me Wrong.” Today, the DopeHouse has the honor of premiering the latest single, “Waiting” with fellow borough native ScienZe.
Backed by a sample of The Doors’ “Waiting On The Sun,” Clapp and ScienZe each take a verse to delve into their career-long patience and how staying quiet, learning and pouncing when an opportunity arises will help their music careers over time.
Listen to “Waiting” below.
Additionally, the video for one of Clapp’s Helen Keller singles, “Demons Into Diamonds,” will show at the NYC Independent Film Festival on Thursday.
