Many of Renz Young’s recently released have revolved around confidence. From “Blackballers” to “Balance,” the Milwaukee native doesn’t run short of braggadocio.
The trend continues on Young’s latest piece, “Pop Off,” which runs through the idea that the name of the song implies: that he’s close to bursting the lid off his music career and explode to the masses. “Tried to show ’em love and they still hate that all these damn released keep my bills paid,” he raps over rolling bass drums provided by by his own talents.
