The future is golden.

Future has plenty to celebrate at the moment. Fresh off performing at Coachella, the Atlanta rapper recently earned his highest-charting single with “Mask Off” reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 100, and, yesterday, he kicked off his Nobody Safe Tour. And now, he’s got another gold plaque to add to his collection.

Today, the RIAA announced FUTURE, the album, had surpassed 500k in sales and has earned gold certification.

Released on February 17th, the album took two and a half months to reach the landmark (a stark contrast to Kendrick’s DAMN. going platinum in three weeks). But with “Mask Off” still rising—thanks to the #MaskOffChallenge and new video starring Amber Rose—the album should continue to make waves.

For those keeping score at home, this marks Future’s fifth RIAA album award. Before FUTURE, he scored gold plaques for 2012’s Pluto, 2014’s Honest, and 2016’s EVOL. And DS2 went platinum, of course.
