This sure ain’t Hybrid Theory anymore.

Linkin Park — the group who rose to fame blending rock, metal and rap throughout the 2000s — have certainly drifted from the sound they came to prominence with.

Their new album, One More Light, drops on May 19. We’re still interested because they shared a single with Pusha T and Stormzy, “Good Goodbye,” a couple weeks ago. With the album two weeks out, the song has now gotten a video, that, I hope, is meant to stress how we’re not supposed to take the song too serious.

Kareem Abdul-Jabaar — yes, basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabaar — plays some sort of basketball boss and gets Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington to impress him with dunks all while Mike Shinoda, Pusha and Stormzy rap in front of the basketball hoop.
