Richard Russell is a founder and owner of XL Recordings, English independent record label responsible for albums from Adele, Sampha, Kaytranada, and others. The record producer is now steeping into the forefront with an upcoming project, Everything Is Recorded.
The project appears to be a massive collaborative effort between Russell and several artists (think Gorillaz, minus all of the animation). He took to MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1 show to unveil the “Hottest Record In The World,” his first single “Close But Not Quite” which features Sampha. Listen to it below.
