Kanye West Reportedly Working On Album In Wyoming Wilderness

Kanye West has been all but absent from the public eye since he entered the hospital for mental treatment in November, and that’s for the best. He wasn’t at the event where his Yeezy Season 5 clothing line was unveiled, and he’s recently deleted his Twitter and Instagram. (He did have a meeting with Donald Trump, though.)

Now, TMZ is reporting that Kanye has ventured out into the Wyoming wilderness to create new music. “He’s holed up in a Wyoming retreat at the top of a mountain to find his inspiration,” the celebrity news website said, noting that they know exactly where he is but they don’t want to “ruin his mojo” by revealing it.

If you’ll remember in 2010 after a couple years of public antics following the heartbreak that inspired 808s & Heartbreak, Kanye escaped the pressures of life in Hawaii to make music. The finished product was My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

TMZ said Kanye has been in Wyoming for a week now, and he’s been to the location at least a couple times. Following 2016’s The Life of Pablo, Kanye announce he wanted to release an album called Turbo Grafx 16. There have also been rumblings about a Cruel Winter album will finally see the light of day.

Music aside, let’s hope Kanye’s gotten mentally healthy before anything else.
