Mother’s Day is around the corner (May 14th), and there’s no need to delve into its purpose and significance. With his long-awaited movie, All Eyez On Me, arriving in theaters June 16th, a brief clip from the movie has been released in honor of Mother’s Day.
In it, ‘Pac (portrayed by Demetrius Shipp in his very first film role) has a heartfelt conversation with his mother, Afeni Shakur (portrayed by Danai Gurira). The film has also released a special Mother’s Day website, in which visitors are urged to share their own sentiments for the special women in your lives including mothers, sisters, wives, girlfriends and daughters.
