You know Tuki Carter as a rapper, but he started as a tattoo artist who eventually opened up his own shop, City of Ink, in Atlanta. He needed to find a way to make money, built a business and now is living his dream of making music while signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang label.
His recently released Flowers And Planes album revolves around the drive to just be “great at what you do no matter the obstacles set in the way,” and that’s brought together on the song “Make A Way.” The black-and-white video sees Carter return back to his tattooing roots, where he inks a flower on a woman’s butt. Because sure, why not.
