Danger Mouse is contributing to the soundtrack of Baby Driver — a movie about a getaway driver named Baby that I pray is satire based on how… interesting the trailer is. And by interesting, I mean dumb. But I hope it’s the good type of dumb. Yes, there’s a good type of dumb.
But anyway, the first sampling of the soundtrack came out today, and it’s a collaboration between Danger Mouse, Run The Jewels and Big Boi. El-P, Killer Mike and Big Boi each spit a verse taking on a role of someone who needs to get the hell out of dodge. Mike and El are jewel runners, so it’s not that hard to get into character.
