Although he’s taken the majority of 2017 off, Vic Spencer made sure to leave fans with enough music as a placeholder until his eventual return. Four months ago, the Chicago rapper teamed up with DopeHouse OG Big Ghost LTD for The Ghost of Living, and just before that, he left us with his St. Gregory LP.
With a recent appearance on French producer Junior Makhno’s Party Discipline project (which also features Esoteric, Ill Bill, Planet Asia and more), Vic returns with a visual for “Bodybag Mentality,” popping with vibrant color and contrasted by his gritty street tales.
Vic, who’s always on his indie grind, is said to have moved 400 copies of The Ghost of Living on vinyl, plus an additional 200 copies on cassette, according to FSD.
