NYC rapper Billy Woods has a new album coming out called Known Unknowns. It’s his first project since 2015’s Today, I Wrote Nothing, and today, he shares his first song in two years, “Wonderful” with Aesop Rock and Homeboy Sandman. It’s also a single off Known Unknowns.
The song features each of the emcees taking a stab at the reverberating, grungy production provided by Blockhead, who’s produced most of Woods’ last couple albums and will be features all across Known Unknowns.
A press release describes Woods’ artistic mindset on his new album “on more melodic ground, but still his esoteric, acerbic self, spinning verses equal parts joy and terror, wry wit and blind rage.”
