Take A Ride With Gucci Mane & Metro Boomin’s ‘Drop Top Wop’ Album

blame it on Meka May 25, 2017

Lord willin’, Gucci Mane has a reason to celebrate.

May 26th will mark exactly one year since he was released from prison after serving three years, and he has made more than the most of his freedom in that time: he’s released roughly 50-11 albums (Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa), mixtapes (from Woptober to Free Bricks 2) and songs/guest features.

More importantly, though, he’s become engaged to his longtime girlfriend, transformed into perhaps the healthiest rapper out today, and is the happiest he’s ever been. Gucci, it seems, has finally found himself.

To celebrate his first year of newfound freedom, Gucci has teamed with Metro Boomin — together as Gucci Boomin — for his first project of 2017. The collaborative “mixtape” sits at ten tracks, with appearances from Offset, 2 Chainz, Young Dolph and Rick Ross. Metro produces the entire thing with help fromSouthside, TM88, London On Da Track, Frank Dukes, and a few others.

Led by the first single “Hurt A N***a Feelings,” Drop Top Wop can be streamed in its entirety below and grab it on iTunes.
