Terrace Martin has a jazz group called The Pollyseeds. Among the Pollyseeds are some instrumentalists and artists you may have heard of before: Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Rose Gold, Brandon Owens, Marlon Williams, Trevor Lawrence Jr. and more.
The Pollyseeds are putting out a project called Sounds Of Crenshaw, Vol. 1 in the near future, and today, they group has shared the project’s first single, “Intentions” featuring Chachi, more formally known as Problem. The song sticks to the street and city’s funk roots as Chach and Rose Gold harmonize about putting each other’s bad intentions to the side for the night.
