Earlier this year, Smoke DZA and Pete Rock released a helluva album called Don’t Smoke Rock. One of the many standouts was “Hold the Drums” with Royce 5’9″. In an interview around the time of the release, DZA mentioned a remix was already in the works and would see the light sometime this year.
While we wait on that, Styles P seemingly doesn’t possess the same patience and decided to bombard the drum-less banger with a series of bars. Yeah, we’re totally ok with it.
