On the first day of June, though, the former Diplomat gets back to it with “The Get Back” featuring A Boogie With da Hoodie.
A song dominated by a hook and verse from A Boogie, “The Get Back” aims to breathe success into those surrounding Juelz, who himself wasn’t expected to succeed given the circumstances he grew up around in Harlem. A short snippet of Jay Z’s “Dead Presidents II” — more specifically the line where Hov raps “Still in all we livin’, just dream about the get-back” — opens and closes the song.
