Recently, De La Soul teamed with TIDAL for a special live-stream of their performance from The Roundhouse in London, England. To return the favor, they give the streaming platform the green light to premiere their video for “Drawn.”
The second visual from their GRAMMY-nominated ninth album and the Anonymous Nobody, the Little Dragon-guested track is directed by J Anders Urmacher. But because TIDAL, non-members can’t really make out what the video is about outside of an woman about to begin her day. The so-called streaming wars: gotta love ’em.
Fans can catch De La Soul at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, The Meadows in Queens, NY, and various stops across the planet.
