Brockhampton – “LAMB”

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 8, 2017

Brockhampton — a boy band created over the Internet — are dropping their second mixtape, Saturation, tonight. Though we’ve had multiple singles (“Face,” “Gold,” “Heat,” “Star“) released so far, the latest, “Lamb,” will not appear on their project coming out in a couple hours, as the tracklist reveals.

You can see why the group would want to release the song on the eve of their mixtape dropping. It’s warm, and it revolves around wanting to be remembered for having an impact on people’s lives, singing, “If I die, I hope I’m no random guy. Somewhere out there they will say, ‘he is mine, he is mine,'” on the hook. For a boy band that is the antithesis of what we’ve come to know what a boy band is, they seem right at home doing the norm on “Lamb.”

Kevin Abstract said “Lamb” will land on another album (Saturation II) out in the future, but we’ll have to wait and see if that holds true. Watch the video below.
