Joe Budden doesn’t hide how little respect he has for a new class of kids influencing the sound of hip-hop, often because of the lack of substance in their raps. He appears nearly every day alongside a gossip DJ presenting an “old head” and experienced side of the argument of varying topics in hip-hop.
Plenty of the younger generation notice Budden’s words, including the most high profile case, Lil Yachty. And while there may be substance in Budden’s argument, not every young kid coming up puts the bars to the side.
Wifisfuneral has presented his case on plenty of songs in the past, but just in case people weren’t listening, he presents his formal case on “JoeBuddenProbablyThinksICantRap,” a quick-hitter heavily influenced by Eminem.
Budden actually listened, and it turns out, on this occasion, Wifisfuneral was wrong.
