A couple months ago, a rumor circulated that Big Boi‘s upcoming album Boomiverse would be a double album given the amount of songs that were played at an album-listening party.
Though when he released the tracklist — with Killer Mike, Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, Gucci Mane and others — there was only 12 songs, Big Boi confirmed in an interview with Zane Lowe he has another album of 12 songs locked and loaded “soon as they show appreciation.” As to when that is? He probably has a date in mind, but we’ll have to wait and see when it is.

For now, though, we’ll focus on the 12 songs of Boomiverse. We’ve heard “Mic Jack,” “Kill Jill” and “In The South” thus far, and a couple days before the album drops, Daddy Fat Sax shares “Chocolate” — a bass-and-synth-heavy single ready for late, intoxicated nights.
