2 Chainz Knows ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ On New Album

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 15, 2017

2 Chainz has been one of the best rappers around the last two years. A career that finally picked up steam in the mainstream half a decade ago, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi is at his career’s apex so far with his new album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.

After releasing three projects last year — Collegrove with Lil Wayne, Daniel Son; Necklace Don and Hibachi For Lunch — and a handful of some of the most vigorous features of the year (“No Problem,” “Smoke Break,” “Champions,” to name a few), 2 Chainz calls on some of rap music’s biggest names for his first solo album since 2013.

Drake (“Big Amount,” on Daniel Son), Gucci Mane and Quavo (“Good Drank,” on Hibachi For Lunch), Travi$ Scott (“4 AM“) and the trio of Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz and Jhené Aiko (“It’s A Vibe“) all appeared on the album’s singles, but the firepower doesn’t end there. Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, all of the Migos, Swae Lee and Monica appear across the 16-track project, which 2 Chainz has long promised is his best work yet. Production provided by Mike WiLL Made It, Murda Beatz, Honorable C-Note, Ducko McFli, and more.

Pushed back a couple month to put the finishing touches on it, you can stream the album below and cop it on iTunes.
