Is this Young Thug‘s Rebirth?

Thugger always stretches the bounds of what kind of genres he covers, through both his singing and what he sings over. When he introduced the concept of his new album, Beautiful Thugger Girls, he dubbed it a “singing album,” that he later revealed would be executive produced by Drake. Just the commitment to singing brought reminders of Lil Wayne’s dabble in rap-rock, his 2010 album Rebirth.

Thug could’ve been blowing smoke — I mean, he did say the album would drop the week he announced it, and nothing — but as snippets for songs from the project kept coming out (one with Rich Homie Quan — which didn’t wind up making the cut — and one where he was crooning over an acoustic guitar), he was singing in damn near all of them.

Earlier this week, a trailer for the album was shared across social media, adding to the cloud of mystery surrounding what exactly Beautiful Thugger Girls is.

A tracklist and cover leaked earlier in the week, but here it is confirmed, with 14 tracks featuring Future, Snoop Dogg, Lil Durk and Jacquees.
