Even before appearing on Playboi Carti‘s self-titled debut mixtape, West Coast crooner Leven Kali has been spotted at the front pages of the DopeHouse multiple times.
Although his appearances here are significantly infrequent, he’s shown off his singing and producing talents in 2015 on “C.W.Y.B.” and “Rather Be Alone” with Casey Veggies, and again, last year with “Cassandra.”
Now, as he prepares for a new EP release this summer, Leven (who I just learned also shares writing credits on Drake‘s More Life on the song “Do Not Disturb”) is back with his latest, “Yours.”
Sharing production credits with Ism, the funky, slow number may be four months too late — or not. Regardless, a few babies will more than likely be conceived to the new song.
