At the top of February, Beyoncé announced through her personal Instagram account that she and husband JAY Z were having twins. Despite strutting her baby bump in a glowing performance at this year’s GRAMMYs, the pregnancy news meant Queen Bey had to pull out of performing at this year’s Coachella, citing doctor’s orders (although she’s already been scheduled to headline next year’s festival).
Late last night, multiple reports, including US Magazine and NY Daily News revealed that The Carters welcomed their twins — rumored to include a boy and a girl — into the family, reportedly giving birth at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
The news was confirmed by Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles who welcomed his new grandkids in a congratulatory Tweet early this morning.
