SZA makes her highest debut on a Billboard chart this week with CTRL, opening up at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Selling 60,000 units (25,000 which came from pure album sales, the rest from streaming), SZA landed behind Katy Perry — whose Witness album sold 180,000 copies, the biggest debut for a woman so far in 2017 — and her TDE labelmate Kendrick Lamar and his wildly successful album DAMN.

SZA’s 2014 project Z debuted at No. 39 on the Billboard chart selling under 7,000 copies its first week.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake both continued their chart domination with DAMN. and More Life this week. DAMN. sold another 69,000 copies, while Drake’s More Life sold 41,000. Both are approaching double-platinum status.
