Over the last few weeks, the likes of Omarion, Terrace Martin and The Pollyseeds and James Blake have recreated songs from Earth, Wind & Fire, Janet Jackson and Frank Ocean, respectively. Now, Khalid is the latest musician to cover a song.
Taking cues from James, the American Teen reimagines Frank’s channel ORANGE single “Lost” for BBC Radio 1’s Piano Sessions. Stripping the mid-tempo track down, and backed by only a guitar and the keys, Khalid delivers a more laid-back rendition of the track.
