French Montana Announces ‘Jungle Rules’ Album, Release Date

blame it on Meka June 26, 2017

In 2016, French Montana could not have had a worser rollout for his MC4 project. Originally planned as his official follow-up to his major label debut Excuse My French, the album went through multiple singles (“Lockjaw” with Kodak Black and “Figure It Out” with Kanye West and Nas, being the most notable) before being “delayed” then leaked by several Target(!) stores and ultimately canceled… before being released as a free mixtape.

Now, French has a Platinum hit single in “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee. Hoping to strike while the iron is hot — and avoid the MC4 issues — French revealed that the song precedes his new formal sophomore album, titled Jungle Rules. Announced at the end of his 2017 BET Awards performance, Montana divulged that the project will be released on July 14th.

Hopefully he won’t run into the same problems as before.
