As we have stated numerous times in the past Top Dawg Entertainment is loaded with talent from all angles, from Dave Free (Kendrick Lamar‘s manager who also triples as a producer and director) to Punch (TDE’s president who can also get down on the microphone).
Punch has returned with his first song of 2017 (his last song was “Gold,” in late 2016) “2010 Vision.” “So my friend Elle sent me a record she recorded called ‘American Dad’ awhile ago,” Punch explains. “The song was always stuck in my head because her voice inflection and tonality is extremely distinctive. Also then the different melodies she used where just hypnotic I had my guy H Beats flip her vocals and guitar. It inspired reflection.”
