Future and Rihanna have a working relationship for years, dating back to 2012’s “Loveeeeeee Song” off her seventh album Unapologetic. The two recently connected for “Selfish,” from Futche’s HNDRXX project released earlier in 2017.

As it turns out, Future was a writer on Rih’s song “Nothing Is Promised,” which ultimately became the lead single from Mike WiLL Made It‘s major label debut album Ransom 2. While the song debuted in 2016, a reference track featuring his vocals has surfaced today (June 29th). The production provided by Mike WiLL and Pluss was slightly altered in the final version, but Rihanna essentially duplicates Future’s entire cadence to a T.
