French Montana is hoping that a repeat performance of MC4 doesn’t happen again.
Originally planned as his official follow-up to his major label debut Excuse My French, the album went through multiple singles (“Lockjaw” with Kodak Black and “Figure It Out” with Kanye West and Nas, being the most notable) before being “delayed” then leaked by several Target(!) stores and ultimately canceled… before being released as a free mixtape.
Now, French has a Platinum hit single in “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee. Hoping to strike while the iron is hot — and avoid the MC4 issues — French revealed that the song precedes his new formal sophomore album, titled Jungle Rules. Announced at the end of his 2017 BET Awards performance, Montana divulged that the project will be released on July 14th.
French has now shared the album’s tracklist. Like his debut album, Excuse My French, it is another guest-heavy affair: Chinx, Max B, The Weeknd, Pharrell, Quavo, Future, T.I., Young Thug, Travis Scott and others pop up throughout the 18-song album, with French only having six solo songs on it.

French has also embarked on an accompanying tour in support of the album, which began today (June 5th) and will take him all throughout Europe.
