It was only a matter of time.
In New York, rappers remixing hit songs — and garnering some radio spins of their own — is nothing new, especially when it comes to Fabolous. With his former mentor DJ Clue a long-running radio staple, many of his remakes get played on terrestrial radio all the time.
His latest, his “take” on DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller‘s “Wild Thoughts,” will be no different. Along with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, the song is reimagined as “Wild Thots,” a salvo about the unscrupulous women in the world. Think about it: Sporty Thievz parodied TLC‘s “No Scrubs” all the way to a chart-topping single. Who’s to say that Fab won’t do the same?
Meanwhile, this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in July.
