Already Platinum in these streets, JAY-Z‘s 4:44 is being called some of his most personal work yet. And, according to Joey Bada$$, he’ll take the credit for that.
Jozif sat down with Montreality where he opened up on a variety of topics, including his relationship with Kendrick Lamar and TDE, his appreciation for Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, and more. However, the biggest takeaway from their conversation would be this:
I put a certain pressure on these OGs in the rap game, they know what they gotta talk about now. Cause they got this young n***a Joey Bada$$ talking about this sh*t before they got the chance to talk about it. I feel like I was an inspiration to 4:44, I loved the album, it’s great, and I’m glad I could be an inspiration.”
