The guest list for Alchemist and Budgie‘s upcoming The Good Book Vol. 2 is massive, and there are plenty of reasons to get hype for individual artist’s verses over an Alchemist beat. But there aren’t many whose hype takes reign over when Westside Gunn and Conway get together with Alchemist on the boards.
“A Thousand Birds,” The Chemist’s new single, is the second from The Good Book Vol. 2, following the zany “Brother Jedediah” with Action Bronson and Big Body Bes. Backed by a religious sample (as all beats on the project will be), the Griselda Records founders and brothers wax poetics about street narratives and the importance of not snitching.
