Back in February, Just Blaze and Swizz Beatz had the Hip-Hop world by a chokehold when the held a live beat battle. For two hours, the legendary producers went back and forth with hit after hit. They even dropped unreleased tracks in hopes to get the upper hand — with Swizz dropping a bomb from Nas, Jay Z, Jadakiss and DMX.
Five months later, a new battle has been presented to the masses. A few days ago, Swizz Beatz called out Timbaland during the New York stop of Mayweather and McGregor’s pointless media tour.
Today, Timbaland has accepted the challenge with a message of his own. Soundtracked by the Game of Thrones theme, Timbo says he’s “wit da smoke” before saying Swizz has awoken the king.
