In support of her new album Melodrama, Lorde dropped by Late Night with Seth Meyers for an incredible performance of “Perfect Places.”
Lorde performed the song with simply a choir and a piano — a stark difference from the energetic, synth-laden and triumphant original. She began the song alone before the chorus and drums later blended together to add a soul element to the tune.
