Today, July 22nd marked OVO Sound Radio‘s 48th episode, and to ring in the festivities, the OVO Sound crew enlisted Puff Daddy for a Bad Boy Records takeover.
During the special episode, Puff, as promised, delivered a brand new, exclusive track titled “Watcha Gon’ Do” featuring the late Notorious B.I.G. and Rick Ross, with two different versions available to stream/purchase.
The original version features a flip of Steve Miller Band‘s “Fly Like An Eagle,” while the version dubbed the “Dre Day Mix” does a great job at repurposing Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg‘s “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang.”
Unfortunately, the Biggie vocals have been used before — originally on “You’ll See” with The LOX, before being used again on “Hustler’s Story” for that forgettable Duets project.
