“Underground Superman, I took the Lois (lowest) Lane.”
While his Live From Room 39 album was packed with features from A-list emcees, Ty Farris‘ follow-up EP kept things light on guest appearances.
Aside from a single feature from Waterr, the EP, backed by production from Vanderslice, frequent collaborator Trox, J Banksy, The Olympics and Thelonious Martin put a finely-tuned microscope on Ty’s refined lyricism.
Led by the Thelonious Martin-produced single “Prayer For the Competition,” the Detroit vocabulary bruiser returns with the track’s official video.
Directed by Myles, the visual finds Ty — with help from King Thelonious — digging up a grave in his backyard and figuratively burying the opposition, before heading to a local church to say a quick “Prayer For The Competition.”
