For whatever unknown reason, Vado has not taken — or is not taking — advantage of his affiliation with DJ Khaled and We The Best Music (and neither is Ace Hood, but, digressing), while Khaled is running roughshod over the Billboard charts. THe Harlem rapper did, however, release his Sinatra 2 mixtape shortly before Memorial Day, and now he returns with a video for “Used To Luv.”
With some assistance from Ron Browz, the video is the standard affair of bottles, models and mansions. However, the song itself is about Vado going cold after the love he gave to someone was given away the very next day (like “Last Christmas” from Wham!). The duality of it all… or something.
