Lil Durk and Lil Reese are two rappers from Chicago — nay, the same STREET in Chicago — with varying levels of buzz. They’ve come together to make a project called Supa Vultures, which they’ve announced will drop August 11.

“The Supa Vulture title is a combination of us – Reese got his Super Savage compilation and we always say we vultures,” Durk said in a press email. “We don’t eat each other, we eat other people and keep everything in the family. If you’re with us we call you a vulture and you’re our brother. There’s never been structure between the older guys and the younger guys like us so we starting our own thing so we can pass down things to the younger generation. On this project, we speaking from the trenches.”

Durk and Reese also shared the project’s first single, “Distance,” where the two go back-and-forth about keeping space between them and people back home who are looking to ride on their coattails of success.

The pair have worked together plenty in the past, most recently on Durk’s They Forgot mixtape. Listen to “Distance below, and pre-order the six-track EP on iTunes.
