Representing the Eastside of Toronto is another newcomer to the DopeHouse: Asun Eastwood.
The Canadian rapper, who describes his music as “provocative” and has experienced quite a lot of violence throughout his young life. After debuting his Conway-assisted single “Mulatto Mixing,” Asun proudly releases his debut EP, NIMBUS.
The 9-track EP features production from Bomber Ph.D, Uncle D.O.E., and Onaje Jordan and also features Conway the Machine and rap peddler Skyzoo.
Asun’s story is like a critically acclaimed film. Having faced the loss
of a brother, getting shot, stabbed and left for dead. Asun still
stands strong and realizes that all of the misfortunes have led him to his
purpose, music.
