In early 2016, Santa Fe, New Mexico artist Wake Self dropped off a phenomenal visual with his Ma Dukes co-signed “I Still Love Her” which followed the timeline of Hip-Hop’s elite generations.
Keeping up with homages to veteran artists who’ve paved the way, Wake Self conveys the spirit of Busta Rhymes‘ bugged-out, colorful visuals for his 1997 banger, “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See,” lit up with vibrant body paint (styled by “graffiti artist Kause”) and black lights to enhance the experience.
