With 180 still in rotation, Kur is back at the DopeHouse with the project’s first video, for “UPN” with Eline the MC.
Named after the historic United Paramount Network, the Philly spitters take turns reminiscing on what life was like coming up in their hometown.
“I remember watching UPN ’til I got sleepy, argue with my sister every night. We shared the TV,” Kur told The FADER. ” The sample was fire to me and I felt like I had to spit some pain on it.”
“This track to me is a feel good record — reminiscing on old times, even if they weren’t the best times,” Eline added. “It’s about cherishing those moments because they’ve made you who you are.”
