Lou Phelps released his 001:Experiments project in April with support of his older brother, Kaytranada. Big brother produced a couple songs on the mixtape, including “What Time Is It?” — a funky party cut that tells the story of Phelps’s and James’s nights.
That song has been brought to life in video form, where a house party gets cracking with Lou Phelps at the center of it. In his finest all-white outfit and tennis shoes, he catches a vibe from a girl before leading a dance out by the pool. James, on the other hand, gets into bed at 6 a.m. and tells what went on the previous 12 hours while trying to get hydrated.
