Bay Area rapper Rexx Life Raj reflects on his career thus far and where it’s headed on his new song, “Radio.” The song was released along with a video, which sees Raj traveling around California performing and recording with the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Mozzy, Russ and more.
He said the line “‘This might not make it to radio but up, up, and away we go’ is me understanding that this might not be a track that they’ll play at radio stations but it doesn’t matter because things are still taking off. The music,” he said in a press email, “reaches more and more people daily, my following is growing. Everything is working exactly how it’s supposed to. That’s the message I wanted to convey with this.”
