Two years ago, almost to the day, Fetty Wap made Billboard chart history having four songs in the top 10 of the Hot Raps Songs chart with “Trap Queen,” “679,” “My Way” and “Again.” From my memory, there was a 100 percent chance that, out of a batch of like three songs being played in a dive bar, one of them was a Fetty Wap song. Every night. All the time. New artists having two hot singles at one time is hard enough, but this dude had four.
Anyway, two years is a long time. Despite releasing plenty of music, including Zoovier and Lucky No. 7 mixtapes, Fetty hasn’t seen a single chart since the beginning of 2016. But nevertheless, he persists.
