Eric Bellinger – “Be The Change”

Inspired by the words of Nelson Mandela, Eric Bellinger released a new song called “Be The Change” in response to the recent events in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the systemic racism minorities in the United States face on a daily basis.

Manela, in an autobiography from the 1980s, said: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to Love, for Love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

Bellinger took that to heart on his new acoustic single, where he encourages people to be the change they want to see in the world. Listen to “Be The Change” below.
