La Coka Nostra veteran Slaine — of Boston, MA — and Termanology — of Lawrence, MA — will finally combine forces like Captain Planet for their collaborative LP Anti-Hero.
“We were rivals,” Slaine remembers about his friend. “When I started buzzing, Term was coming up at the same time,” remembers Slaine. “I viewed him as competition.”
“Doing a record with Slaine, I’m thinking like this is hardcore, raw, shock rap,” Termanology adds. “I wanted to make it so that Slaine’s fans could feel me as well.”
Anti-Hero will be an underground rap fan’s wet dream, boasting production and contributions from Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, Evidence, Bun B, Conway and many more.
Set for an October 6th release, they’ve also unveiled both the tracklist and first single, “Land Of The Lost.” Check it out below.
