Releases from Jean Deaux have been few and far between the last couple years — the most recent, her Outer Body EP released in December — but when they’ve popped up, it’s always a pleasant experience.
That holds true with her latest releases, “Wikipedia” — a sun-kissed, soulful and head-bobbing tune, though it all masks the driving theme of people trying to knock her down and devalue her. She powers through the outside doubt, though, and keeps being herself.
