It’ll be hard to top the first three weeks of DOOM‘s The Missing Notebook Rhymes series, but he’s got 12 more chances to do so starting this week with his newest song, “Notebook 03.” (It’s an unnamed and/or self-titled track.)
Following “Negus” with the late Sean Price, “True Lightyears” with Jay Electronica (which will be on an upcoming KMD album, by the way!) and spitting over Alchemist on “DOOMSAYER,” the Masked Man goes all solo on “Notebook 03.” It’s a relatively tame effort as DOOM takes the often-used third-person storytelling perspective of someone honing their rap craft.
