Although Isaiah Rashad‘s Lil Sunny Tour wrapped in April, we’re still being blessed with memories from the road. While out in Montreal, the TDE rapper sat down with the good folks at Montreality for one of their unique interviews.
During the time on camera, Rashad speaks on jobs he had as a teenager, what he’s gonna be doing at 86-years-old, his favorite cartoon character and boasts about his Clarinet skills (no, seriously). He also breaks down how he and 21 Savage look nothing alike and offers some jewels for the youth.
“Don’t take this sh*t that you see on Twitter and on TV for face value, think for yourself,” Rashad says. “Set realistic goals, but still dream. Never be too old to believe in yourself, people turn 25 and just give up on everything. Leave your city, leave your neighbourhood. Go learn something cause it’s cool to do it, besides tryna get an adrenaline rush. Love somebody for more than like smoking a blunt with you, or hotboxing the car, care about somebody even if they can’t give you a ride to the mall.”
