By the end of 2017, New York’s minimum wage is slate to increase to $13 an hour, and up to $15 per hour at the end of 2018. Sounds like a lot, but when one takes into consideration that New York is one of the most expensive cities on the planet, fifteen bucks — before taxes! — doesn’t amount to much.
There’s no particular reason for that rant, outside that Quentin Miller dropped a freestyle titled “Minimum Wage.” Rhyming over some production from Samiyam (Q.M. even puts out an APB to be introduced to Sam), the soul-fused loosie can be heard below.
